Therapy
Treatment plans at Three Waves Psychotherapy are customizable based on your unique needs, goals, and circumstances. From full adherence to DBT, ACT, and MBCT protocols to a more “informed” approach, your therapist will be able to make suggestions for the recommended course of treatment during your intake session or initial consultation call.
Individual sessions are 50 minutes long and conducted via telehealth for clients residing in California, though enrollment in comprehensive DBT includes phone coaching as needed in between sessions. It is generally recommended to attend therapy weekly, especially in the beginning of treatment, however we may decide together to meet more or less frequently depending on your clinical needs and therapeutic goals.
